MARCHING BAND

The Robertsdale High School “Golden Bear” Marching Band, a cornerstone of the Fine Arts Department at RHS, is made up of over 200 students consisting of winds, percussion, and color guard. It is the most visible component of the music program. The “Golden Bear Band” performs at all of the high school’s football games, pep rallies, parades, as well as, two marching contests throughout the fall, consistently garnering superior ratings and capturing many of the best in class and best overall awards at these contests. In the spring of 2019, the band performed in Orlando, Florida at Universal Studios in the "Universal Stars Workshop", where they put their own music and voices to film. In 2016, the band also performed in Philadelphia for the "Thanksgiving Day Parade". Students in marching band are required to participate in a concert band in the Spring.
